Schools & Colleges Prayer Group

The Schools and colleges prayer group is mixed, with both men and women. They come from different denominations, all with a commitment and burden to pray for the pupils, school staff and others who work in our schools, colleges and special needs schools.

We also support the workers of E3 Scripture union and CEF etc.

Requests come in from many different sources – ill children, those being bullied and those in
difficulty etc. Exam times are remembered in prayer with all the pressure and concern that they
bring. Peer pressure is also a major concern for many pupils. We also remember those leaving
school and going into employment or university.

Other prayer concerns:

  • Nursery schools
  • Parents struggling with every day living
  • Financial problems
  • One-parent families
  • Children with different languages who need extra help and support.

We meet each Monday during term time in the Park Room at 1001st Presbyterian Church
Broughshane, from 11am—12.15pm.

If you have a prayer burden for our schools and pupils—feel free to join us, our children need
much prayer.
